About Me

I am currently a senior at the University of Pittsburgh majoring in Computer Science and getting a certificate in Sustainability. I am actively applying to PhD programs in interdisciplinary computer science and society. This last summer I was a data science intern @ Lab41. Check out my research to see what project I worked on while I was there.

Research Interests

My research interests are within the fields of Computational Sustainability, Societal Computing, and AI and Social Good. If you never heard of these fields before, check out CompSustNet and AI and Social Good. I am interested in social data science (i.e. social media analytics or IoT sensor data), urban informatics, urban mobility demand prediction, and ICT4D (Information and Communication Technologies 4 Development). Specifically, I am interested in creating and applying data-driven algorithms to get insight on creating new policies and the impact those policies have in dynamic complex systems. I am also interested in the fairness of demand prediction algorithms in the context of smart mobility or other related systems.
